About the Pass the Paper Template
Collaborative brainstorming is a highly effective method of generating innovative ideas by bringing together people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. This approach encourages participants to build upon each other's ideas, leading to rapid evolution and unexpected transformations. The process is often referred to as Round Robin, where each person contributes their unique perspective, and the group works together to create a collection of ideas that surpasses the imagination of any individual.
During the collaborative brainstorming, participants are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas freely, without fear of judgment or criticism. This creates a safe and supportive environment that fosters creativity and innovation. As the group works together, they build upon each other's ideas, leading to new and exciting concepts that may not have been possible without the collective effort.

Official 5-Day Design Sprint
Works best for:
Design, Desk Research, Sprint Planning
The goal of a Design Sprint is to build and test a prototype in just five days. You'll take a small team, clear the schedule for a week, and rapidly progress from problem to tested solution using a proven step-by-step checklist. Steph Cruchon of Design Sprint created this template for Miro in collaboration with design sprint gurus at Google. This Design Sprint template is designed specifically for remote sprints so you can run productive and efficient sprints with colleagues around the world.
Zoom Levels Template
The Zoom Level Template is a tool to examine a problem from various perspectives. For more innovative solutions, consider the issue broadly. Ascending the ladder enables you to broaden your perspective (ask, 'How might we?'). When confronted with an overly broad scope that hinders progress, descending the ladder helps narrow your focus (ask 'What if we narrowed?').
Co-Creation Template
Works best for:
Design
The Co-Creation Template enables the visual expression of ideas using essential elements. Analysis of these creations identifies explicit and implicit needs. For instance, a human resources team may use symbols to envision their ideal work environment. The output reflects people's desires and expectations.
Storyboard Template
Works best for:
Design Thinking
While storyboard is typically associated with planning out scenes for a movie or TV show, it’s been widely adopted throughout the business world. A storyboard is a sequence of illustrations that are used to develop a story. You can use the Storyboarding template anytime you’d like to really put yourself in a customer or user’s position and understand how they think, feel, and act. This tactic can be especially useful when you know there’s a problem or inefficiency with an existing process. You can storyboard existing processes or workflows and plan how you would like them to look in the future.
2x2 Prio Matrix Template
Works best for:
Design
Understanding the balance between importance and difficulty is crucial for effective decision-making and progress. To aid in prioritization, a simple 2x2 matrix can map these factors on the x-axis and y-axis, respectively. This framework allows you to assess the trade-offs and tensions involved. The lower left quadrant represents quick wins, while the upper left quadrant consists of luxury items that may be costly with limited returns. The upper right quadrant contains strategic items that require significant investments for substantial results. Finally, the lower right quadrant houses the most valuable items, offering high impact at a lower cost.
Root Cause Evaluation Template
When you first encounter a complex situation, it's not common to immediately delve into its underlying causes and effects. Often, we grasp the overall picture but fail to separate the problem from its surrounding circumstances. Root Cause Evaluation provides a method to better understand the interconnected factors that have contributed to the current situation.
